Proper Game Integration in Corporate Training Sessions
If you want to include gaming in your training session, then it should be aligned to the learning objective or facilitate peer interaction. I just recieved an email from a national organization which showcased games to use in training sessions. Unfortunately, the "games" are simply multiple choice questions combined with completely unauthentic game play. The linked game invovles answering multiple choice questions, then watching your little motorcycle cross the Atlantic as you randomly race around the world.
Your assessments should be linked to your learning objectives. Games can be so much more than rewards or intersessions between questions.
